ViraGEN MICRO-LYSIS TM KIT is designed to rapidly inactivate microbial pathogens such as viruses (including SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza) and bacteria of high pathogenicity in humans and animals.
The kit consists of
  • MICRO-LYSIS TM - A ready to use sterile packed microbial lysis transport medium with cryo-protectants (1.5 ml filled in 15 ml centrifuge tubes) for collection and transport of microbial samples. The MICRO-LYSIS TM lyses lipid membranes, denatures and destroys proteins, inactivates enzymes like nucleases and proteases and render the pathogens inactive while preserving their nucleic acids for downstream processes such as molecular sequencing, identification and disease testing. The Kit can be used in without employing cold chain during collection and transport.

ViraGEN COVID-19 REAL TIME PCR KIT

  • Real-time RT-PCR test intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid from SARS-CoV-2 in upper and lower respiratory specimens (such as anterior nasal swabs, mid-turbinate nasal swabs, nasopharyngeal swabs, oropharyngeal swabs, sputum, lower respiratory tract aspirates, bronchoalveolar lavage, and nasopharyngeal wash/aspirate or nasal aspirate) from individuals suspected of COVID-19.
